Design and build a user-centric food delivery application that simplifies meal ordering and ensures timely, transparent delivery experiences for users.

Process

• Research: Conducted competitive analysis and user interviews to identify common pain points in existing food delivery services, such as inconsistent delivery times, complex menus, and poor order tracking.

• User Experience Design: Developed user personas representing key demographics (e.g., busy professionals, students, families) and mapped out user journeys to highlight friction points and streamline the ordering flow.

• Prototyping: Created low- and high-fidelity wireframes using Figma and built interactive prototypes to simulate real ordering scenarios.

• Validation & Refinement: Ran usability tests with target users, iterating on feedback to improve navigation, checkout flow, and real-time delivery tracking features.

Solution

The resulting food delivery app provided a seamless end-to-end experience—from intuitive restaurant browsing and personalized recommendations to real-time GPS tracking of deliveries. Users praised the clean interface and reliability of the service, leading to increased user engagement and repeat orders.
